Coalition to Host Community Juneteenth Celebration on June 19 at 5 pm
In collaboration with the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Mars Hill University, the Madison County Racial Justice Coalition will host a Juneteenth Celebration at the Pavilion behind Broyhilll Chapel on the Campus of Mars Hill University.
The short, kid-friendly event will feature a reflection on independence and remembrance in addition to a children’sreadings and ice pops.

Last year, Madison County Racial Justice Coalition, sponsored a Juneteenth commemoration on June 19 at on the campus of Mars Hill University. The 30-minute ceremony took at the flag pole in the University’s upper quad.
